I'm not PC. I'm a drunken redneck nerd making moonshine in the Ozarks. I'm all about the funny, good food and science. I do incredibly stupid shit. Things that explode, get me high or annoy others rock. Just got back. Amazing tales soon to come. Being a deviant with a fetish for sexually dominant women who demand cunnilingus constantly isn't a life-style choice. I was born this way. I'm just a lesbian trapped in a man's body.

While I got no phobia regarding science, this makes me nervous. Think about the law of unintended consequences.. What sort of biological effects could come from all that power in the air. I sure hope they do their research.

Memristor, the choice of a new generation of circuit design. This is the kind of thing that gets me excited. When you design a circuit you are basically doing a juggling act with the numbers. This won't change how your toaster or your George Foreman grill works, but it could spell out some serious re-tooling of how high-end electronics are built. As a soldering iron nerd, I did both thru-hole and SMT work. Believe it or not, I was mess'n with that crap in elementary school. If the facts support the story, this could end up being a VERY big deal. I myself am obsessed with creating a high efficiency solid-state device to convert latent heat into electrical current. A sort of entropy engine to kick that zeroth law of thermodynamics right in da pooper. A feller can dream, can't he? Special thanks to The Dot for bringing this to my attention.

The government of China is in fact run by the CHUDs. Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. Formerly homeless and insane people exposed to toxic radioactive waste in abandoned sewers who venture above to feed on human flesh and organize the cultural fair at the upcoming Olympics.

Now if science could only isolate the gene that causes an otherwise normal person to get into extreme body modification we could cleanse the world of their insanity. Hey Dopey! You might be a grandparent someday. How you gonna explain that shit to the little babies?

What kinda of new-age crystal-worship'n self-delusional bullshit is THIS? One's sexual traits are NOT written on your face. They're written on the side of a van with out-of-state plates.

OMFG! This why we work to preserve the habitat of da critters. This is a big deal. Every new genetic trait we discover could lead to useful advances in the future. Think of it like programing. Who wants to erase forever a useful bit of code? Even if we have no current need for the information, we'd be fools to let it slip away. Biodiversity is an investment on the future. Without getting all preachy and shit, it really is important. Even smallpox and polio need to be kept around in a controlled situation. I'm a huge geek when it comes to the preservation of information. It's the only thing that can be freely given without reducing your own supply. Save the no-lung frog.
